PS5 Slim: Price, Other Details:
Sony introduces PS5 Slim in two variations: the Digital Edition at Rs 44,990 and the Disc Version at Rs 54,990. These redesigned consoles offer expanded storage, compact design, and similar hardware to standard models. Sony achieves up to 30% reduction in size and up to 24% decrease in weight compared to existing models.
The PS5 Slim’s modular design enables easy upgrades, with Sony providing the option to add a disc drive as an accessory to the digital edition. Both variants will boast 1TB internal storage, a notable increase from the current 825GB capacity. Additionally, these consoles will support expansion via external SSDs and feature four cover panels instead of the current model’s two.
The upcoming PS5 Slim models will showcase a glossy finish on the top and a matte design at the bottom for their cover panels. Moreover, each side will incorporate two slits, while dual USB-C ports at the front will replace the single USB-C and USB-A ports seen on the current PS5 models.
