Pokimane has explained why she will not fight Corinna Kopf despite the two arguing online over encouraging gambling during Twitch streams.
Pokimane Corinna Kopf Fight Dismissal
Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys stated why she won’t be boxing Corinna “pouty chick” Kopf during a recent interview on the Banter podcast. Kopf chastised Poki for promoting gambling during Twitch streams at the end of September. Poki was fast to respond to the call, and as a result, the two traded blows online for a few days before the matter was resolved.
The topic of Poki’s online feud with Kopf was brought up during her conversation with the Banter boys, and one of the hosts then asked if she would ever consider stepping inside the ring with her.
“To be honest, no,” Pokimane responded immediately before delving into the “two reasons” why she doesn’t want to fight Kopf.
“For starters, if I’m going to fight someone, I need a good reason,” Pokimane says, adding that “being irritating on Twitter” isn’t a good enough reason and that the type of online debate they were involved in “doesn’t really concern” him.
Pokimane’s second argument is that she does not want to get connected with her or engage with her community and followers again.
“I watched when she tweeted about me, and the responses were so filthy that I knew I wanted to keep as far away from her and her followers or whatever she was.” “This isn’t my cup of tea.”
Pokimane did, however, add that she would be more likely to “truly go off” at someone if they “done anything to someone that I care about a lot.”

Before moving on, Pokimane clarified her thoughts about Twitch’s gambling promotion and why she believes such content should not be offered to such a young audience.

“Honestly, my take wasn’t even ‘don’t gamble,’ it was ‘let’s just not encourage gambling on a platform where fifty to seventy percent of the users are minors.'” Actually, I can’t say for sure, but there are a lot of younger Twitch watchers that should not be advertised to in that sense.”
