Kristen Stewart is again set to star in a hedonistic 80’s vampire thriller called Flesh of the Gods, alongside Moon Knight actor Oscar Isaac, making her return to vampire films.
On May 2, Variety reported that Kristen and Oscar will star together in a thriller directed by Panos Cosmatos, best known for the action-horror film Mandy, starring Nicolas Cage.
Flesh of the Gods is a story that takes place in Los Angeles during the 1980s. The main characters are a married couple named Raoul (Oscar) and Alex (Kristen). Every evening, they leave their luxurious skyscraper condominium and venture out into the vibrant nightlife of the city.
One night, they encounter a mysterious and enigmatic person called Nameless, along with her group of party-loving friends. The couple is lured into an exciting and surreal world of pleasure, thrills, and violence. This information is according to Variety.
Panos described Flesh of the Gods as an entity that exists in the ambiguous space between dreams and nightmares, much like the city of Los Angeles. The story is both compelling and mesmerizing, and it will transport you on a thrilling journey through the vibrant centre of the underworld in a hot rod.
According to producer Adam McKay, the upcoming movie “Flesh of the Gods” will be a mixture of vampires, 80s punk music, and a lot of style and attitude. He also stated that the film, which is scheduled to start filming later this year, will be both commercially successful and artistically impressive.
