Valentino Rossi feeling like a rider again, Yamaha fastest on day 2

On day 2 Monster Energy Yamaha rider Maverick Vinales was on his momentum, topping the day 2 timesheet at 1:53.244 on the Losail International circuit Qatar.

It was a good day for Monster Energy Yamaha as the top 3 on day 2 was all Yamaha rider’s Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Quartararo was following the top guy Maverick Vinales on the final day of testing. Top gun Maverick was working on his race setup and starting lap, His efforts paid off pretty well as he was on top at the end of the day.
None of the factories tested new parts on the final day of testing at Losail International Circuit.



Petronas Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi also touched the timesheet of 1.53.993 and was feeling good with his bike setup. Valentino and Franco Morbidelli tested the new and bigger aerodynamics for his bikes yesterday, it was helpful for the top-end speed and stability of the bike.

Valentino Rossi said he is feeling like a real rider again after joining Petronas and a bunch of new guys.




On the other side, Ducati guy Francesco Bagania was the fastest from the Ducati garage and overall 4th on the timesheet setting a good lap time of 1.53.

It was not a good day and testing session for the Honda side as the main guy Marc Marquez is still not showing his presence till now on track and Alex and Bradl both crashed during testing of their Honda RC211V.



As the testing going to end this Friday, it is going to be a big day for every rider as well as the factory team.

The 2021 FIM MotoGP World Championship season opener Barwa Grand Prix of Qatar will be held on March 28 under lights at Losail.
