Selena Gomez Explained Her Reaction to the Photos She Took With Hailey Bieber

Selena Gomez wants to put the conflict with Hailey Bieber behind them once and for all. The ladies have been the focus of severe quarrel rumours in recent years, many revolving around their ties with Justin Bieber.

While both stars attempted for a long time to dismiss the accusations, Hailey finally set the record straight in a recent podcast interview, confirming that there is no conflict – that their relationships with Justin never overlapped.

“I respect her; there’s no drama in my life,” Hailey said, adding that they’d had a talk that gave her “a lot of peace.” “That’s also why I think it’s acceptable if everyone on our side knows what happened and we’re fine and we can move away from it with clarity and respect.”

While Selena never directly responded to Hailey’s comments, she seemed to have just expressed how she was affected by the entire incident.

Selena revealed to Rolling Stone that recent comments about her had made her feel horrible, though she did not mention Hailey by name.

“Someone made a comment that involved me, and then I felt awful about myself for two days,” Selena explained, adding that something like that would have plagued her for months in the past.

She then added, “I was like, ‘Let’s just say, ‘Everyone is nice to one other.’ Everyone should just concentrate on what is going on in the actual world.'”

That’s just what Selena did. Selena took to TikTok after Hailey’s interview gained a lot of media attention to advocate peace among followers.

And the duo’s efforts to put matters behind them did not end there. Selena and Hailey ran into each other a few weeks later and agreed to take photos together.

Fans were thrilled to see the two women together, but, looking back on the moment, Selena says the whole thing was not a big deal.

“It’s not a big deal. It’s not even a thing,” Selena told Vulture.

It sounds like Selena is totally over all the drama, so here's hoping everyone else can move past it, too!
